Varanguard Consulting LLC ("Varanguard," "we," "us," or "our") provides web design, web development, and IT consulting services to small and growing businesses. Varanguard also builds and operates PremierGuard and SuperShift, internal workforce applications that send operational, work-related SMS to enrolled users (security-guard employees for PremierGuard; nurse practitioners / contractors for SuperShift). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect from people who visit our website, contact us through our forms, or opt in to text-message communications with us (including through PremierGuard or SuperShift), how we use that information, and the choices you have.
We do not sell personal information or mobile numbers.
PremierGuard and SuperShift texts are work-related, opt-in messages for enrolled users — never marketing.
SMS consent is explicit, verified, and never bundled into Terms or Privacy.
1. Information we collect
We collect information you give us directly through the website, contact forms, email, and (if you opt in) SMS. Depending on how you interact with us, that may include:
- Your name, business name, work email address, and phone number
- The contents of messages you send us through contact forms, email, or SMS
- If you opt in to SMS: your mobile phone number, the date and time you confirmed opt-in, the contents of SMS messages you exchange with us, and standard message-delivery metadata (delivery status, error codes)
- Basic technical information your browser sends (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and analytics purposes
We do not collect SMS content from numbers that have not opted in.
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and provide the services you've asked about
- Send project-related communications, appointment reminders, and account updates
- Send operational SMS through PremierGuard to enrolled security-guard employees — for example, shift start/end and break check-ins, shift reminders, incident-report intake, and timecard/account updates
- Send operational SMS through SuperShift to enrolled nurse practitioners / contractors — for example, shift check-in and break reminders, schedule updates, timecard/account alerts, and other work-related replies
- Maintain a record of our engagements, invoices, and communications
- Improve our website and services
- Comply with legal obligations
3. SMS/Text Messaging
Varanguard operates two separate operational SMS programs through our staff applications. Neither program is used for marketing, advertising, or promotional messages.
PremierGuard — operated by Varanguard Consulting LLC — sends operational, work-related text messages to enrolled security-guard employees, such as shift start/end and break check-ins, shift reminders, incident-report intake, and account updates such as timecard approvals.
- Message frequency varies.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply
STOPto opt out orHELPfor help. - Questions: info@varanguard.com.
SuperShift — operated by Varanguard Consulting LLC — sends operational, work-related text messages to enrolled nurse practitioners / contractors of the medical-staffing agency using SuperShift. Message types include shift check-in/out, break reminders, schedule updates, timecard/account alerts, and work-related replies (for example, clock-in or break confirmations). No marketing or promotional content.
- Message frequency varies.
- Message and data rates may apply.

STOPto opt out orHELPfor help. - Questions: info@varanguard.com.
Operational texts for these programs may be sent from +1 (888) 995-9896 and/or +1 (213) 577-1050. No mobile information, SMS opt-in, or consent data is shared with or sold to third parties, affiliates, or lead generators for marketing or promotional purposes. A mobile number provided for messaging is used solely to deliver these operational messages.
Mobile information we collect
For text messaging we collect your mobile phone number, the date and time you confirmed opt-in, the contents of the operational messages you exchange with us, and standard delivery metadata (delivery status and error codes). This mobile information is used solely to deliver the operational messages described above — never for marketing, advertising, or promotional purposes.
How users opt in (PremierGuard and SuperShift)
Enrolled users opt in inside the relevant staff app (PremierGuard or SuperShift). In Profile → SMS text messaging opt-in they enter a mobile number, check a standalone consent box that is not pre-selected, tap Send verification code, and enter the one-time code we text to that number to confirm — which completes opt-in. SMS consent is explicit and kept separate from any other agreement, including our Terms and this Privacy Policy; a user who does not opt in, or who later replies STOP, is coordinated with by phone or in person instead. Keyword text-in is not the primary opt-in method.
Opting in to PremierGuard SMS is optional and is not required to create access, sign in, or use the rest of the PremierGuard application. Opting in to SuperShift SMS is optional and is not required to create access, sign in, or use the rest of the SuperShift application.
For PremierGuard, the exact consent checkbox language is: “Optional: I also agree to receive SMS text messages from PremierGuard about shift check-in, break reminders, schedule updates, and other work-related alerts for my assignments. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.”
For SuperShift, the exact consent checkbox language is: “Optional: I also agree to receive SMS text messages from SuperShift about shift check-in, break reminders, schedule updates, and other work-related alerts for my assignments. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.”
No sharing of mobile information
No mobile information, SMS opt-in, or consent data is shared with or sold to third parties, affiliates, or lead generators for marketing or promotional purposes. A mobile number provided for messaging is used solely to deliver these operational messages.
Sharing is limited to subprocessors strictly necessary to deliver the messages — for example, our SMS provider (Twilio) for message transmission and our hosting provider for application operation. These subprocessors are contractually restricted to using the data only as needed to operate the service on our behalf. We do not sell mobile numbers or message contents.

Message frequency, rates, and your choices
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any PremierGuard or SuperShift message to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. SuperShift HELP replies with: “SuperShift shift assistant. Text things like 'clock in' or 'on break'. Reply STOP to unsubscribe.” Questions about messaging? Email info@varanguard.com.
4. How we share information
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only when necessary to operate our business and deliver our services:
- Subprocessors: Vetted vendors who help us run the site and our services (hosting, email delivery, SMS gateway, analytics). They are contractually restricted to processing data only as needed on our behalf.
- Legal requirements: When required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Varanguard, our clients, or others.
- Business transfers: If Varanguard is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred — subject to the protections of this Policy.
5. Cookies and analytics
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep the site running, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use the site. You can disable cookies in your browser settings — some parts of the site may not work as well if you do.
6. Retention
We retain your information for as long as needed to provide the services you've asked about, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. If you opt out of SMS, we stop sending you messages immediately and keep only the records required to demonstrate compliance with applicable law.
7. Security
We protect your information with industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. Access is restricted to authorized Varanguard personnel and vetted subprocessors who need it to operate the services. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep yours safe.
8. Children
Our services are not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@varanguard.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the website or by email if appropriate. The "Last updated" date at the top of this document reflects the most recent revision.
